There were at least 10 of these decorative chains of office to make for Camelot — all slightly different. I can’t remember how many — at least 10. There were also ladies necklaces made with similar materials.
Desmond Heeley, the designer, took a very hands-on approach to his work and laid them out himself.
They are made with gold and silver plastic curtain rings and plastic rings. I drilled holes in the various pieces and wired them together. I did not sew them onto the costumes.
