I went to Rome in May to attend a conference held in the U.N. FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) building. The building, constructed during Mussolini’s time, is across from Circo Massimo in the Roman Forum, visible from the rooftop. I stayed at the Hotel Lancelot, so when I walked to and from the FAO I passed the Colosseum.
